Terms of Service

These terms cover blue.productions, booking Blue Productions LLC ("Blue Productions," "we," "us"), and SALT, our client portal at blue.productions/salt/. By using any of them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using SALT for a business, you're agreeing on behalf of that business.

Bookings

Filming days and consultations booked through our pricing page are paid through Stripe at the time of booking. The changes, cancellations and weather terms shown when you book are part of that booking. Work under a monthly plan or a separate agreement follows that agreement; where it differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

Your SALT account

• Blue Productions sets up each SALT account and sends its first, temporary password to the business's contact. Choose your own password when you first sign in, keep it to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• You're responsible for what happens under your login, including posts you schedule and changes you make to your brand or website.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts SALT or other clients at risk. You can ask us to close yours at any time.

Your content

Photos, videos, logos, text and other material you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy, resize and process them, and to publish them to the accounts you connect, only as needed to run SALT for you. You confirm that you own what you upload or have the right to use it, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Footage Blue Productions films for you is covered by your booking or production agreement.

Connected social accounts and publishing

You can connect your own Instagram, Facebook Page, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn accounts to SALT. When you do:

• You authorise SALT to publish the posts you schedule (and the posts Blue Productions prepares that you approve) to those accounts, at the times you set, and to read back each post's results (views, likes, comments, shares, saves) to show you in SALT.
• You stay responsible for what's posted to your accounts, and for following each platform's own rules: YouTube Terms of Service, TikTok Terms of Service, Meta Terms (and Instagram's Terms of Use), and the LinkedIn User Agreement. Using SALT to post to YouTube means you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
• You can disconnect any account at any time, from SALT (Content → Accounts) or from the platform's own settings. Nothing is posted to an account after it's disconnected.
• The platforms decide whether and how a post appears. A platform can reject, delay or limit a post, change its features, or end a connection, and SALT can only report what it's told.

Brand guides, websites and captions made in SALT

SALT uses AI tools to research your business from your details and public information, and to draft your brand guide, website, and post captions. These are drafts for you to check. They can contain mistakes, and anything SALT isn't sure of is marked for you to confirm. Review them before you rely on them or publish them. Once you approve and use them, they're yours to use for your business.

Using SALT fairly

Don't use SALT to post anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringing; to spam; to get into accounts or data that aren't yours; or to interfere with SALT or the platforms it connects to.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SALT running and your posts on time, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and features may change. We'll update this page when these terms change and change the date at the top; continuing to use SALT after that means you accept the new terms.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, SALT and this site are provided "as is," and Blue Productions isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or a post a platform didn't publish. Our total liability for anything relating to SALT is limited to what you paid us for it in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States.
